LibreOffice is regularly faced with user requests for “mail” which have grown accustomed to the Microsoft Outlook + Office bundle being one license, and thus one product. This has created the expectation of being served Office & Groupware in one package on Windows. In order to make it easier for users on Windows to adopt Open Source, LibreOffice and Kolab are now working together to create a joint, well-integrated offering.
In the talk Italo Vignoli, Georg Greve and Charles Schulz will be speaking about the issue, its resolution, and the options created for users on Windows and other platforms created through this collaboration.
