While more and more people today have a fast Internet connection, there are plenty of other people that do not, e.g., in places where no ADSL or WAN is available. The aim of this talk is to present an Open Source project that combines multiple Internet access points (such as Wifi or mobile devices) into one single fast Internet connection, that it is easy to use, and fast to configure.
This talk will present the starting requirements, the architecture of the first version (implemented based on creating a chain of proxy servers), the performed experiments to evaluate it, and current considerations on building the next version.
Finally, this talk is also a call for help, maybe other South Tyroleans want to contribute to build a tool that allows people working or living in remote places to have a fast Internet connection through the combination of various weak ones.
