Mattia Pizzirani is an IoT Developer from Genoa, deeply passionate about technological innovation and its potential to drive practical and impactful solutions across multiple fields. Since joining the research and development team at FOS in 2021, he has dedicated himself to a wide range of projects that blend efficiency and creativity, tackling challenges in IoT, virtual reality, and energy optimization.
His journey began with studies at Accademia Digitale Liguria, where he developed a strong foundation in IT systems administration, sparking an interest in problem-solving and complex, real-world applications. This experience set him on a path toward R&D, where he has since worked across diverse sectors such as transportation, agriculture, marine, building IoT-based systems with tools like Node-RED and Raspberry Pi. His involvement in building automation for energy efficiency and SCADA system development for railways further reflects his commitment to sustainable and reliable tech-driven solutions. In addition, he has contributed to virtual reality initiatives, developing immersive training simulations for various types of end users.
Beyond work, he is passionate about music, sports and gaming, both as a user and a programmer, which offer him a creative outlet and keep him balanced and motivated. He envisions a future where technology is an essential tool for improving quality of life across industries, and he is driven by the potential of his work to make meaningful contributions to both local and global communities.
