BOF (Birds of a Feather) meetings are informal gatherings where communities can come together to discuss any topic of interest.
What are BOF meetings?
Crane Hall BOF (Birds of a Feather) meetings during SFSCON are informal gatherings where communities can come together to discuss any topic of interest. This format is a fantastic way to encourage open discussion, share knowledge and engage with others in a casual setting. You are free to invite your network or community to attend these sessions.
What will we provide?
We will provide a dedicated space in the Crane Hall. Please note that there will be no audio/video equipment (no microphone or projector), but you will be able to use the space as you see fit.
How do I propose a BOF meeting?
If you are interested in hosting a BOF Meeting, simply submit your poposal wih a session title and short description to reserve a 40-minute slot between 14:00 and 18:00 (CET).
→ We kindly ask you to submit your BOF proposals no later than Monday, September 29th.
Important notes
→ If you are a speaker, please check your slot in the programme to avoid scheduling conflicts.
Once we have received your submission, we will add your BOF to the official event programme in the first available slot that matches your request and then you will be responsible for running the session.
All information must be provided in English.
All speakers must adhere to the 100% vendor neutral / no commercial policy of the conference. If speakers cannot respect this policy, they should not submit a proposal. In addition, see also the SFSCON Code of Conduct here.
