Social events
This year, as is customary for us, SFScon 2007 working days will be accompanied by leisure activities. After all, South Tyrol is well known for its typical restaurants, excellent wine and traditional dishes!
14.11.2007: WINE TASTING (LAGUNDO WINEMAKERS' COOPERATIVE | WEINKELLEREI ALGUND | CANTINA SOCIALE DI LAGUNDO)
A feast of tastes and flavours. We will taste 6 typical South Tyrol wines with the typical South Tyrol crisp bread “Schüttelbrot”.

15.11.2007: FIRST MEETING IN MERAN-MERANO (PUB IN MERAN | FORSTERBRÄU | BIRRERIA FORST)
Will you already be in Merano the day before the SFScon conference, November 15th? The conference's management staff will meet at the Forst pub to have a beer. Feel free to join us at 18.30 PM for a drink!

16.11.2007: SFScon DINNER (WALDSCHENKE)
“Waldschenke” is a traditional tavern, one of the best places for autumn culinary events. A genuine, rustic inn where traditional cuisine loving gourmets meet to taste South Tyrol traditional dishes. We will be offered a rich, wonderful menu:
the farmer's barley soup;
The South Tyrol speciality “Törggelen” (pork loin, smoked pork chops and sausages with Sauerkraut, Knödel with Speck, salted potatoes);
roasted chestnuts with butter;
drinks: 1/4 litre of red/white wine or a soft drink or a beer (home brewed in the inn).
Please, let us know if you are vegetarian: we have arranged an alternative menu for you!
